The Floating World: Fifty-three Stations of Pacific Coast Highway is scheduled to be shown as a solo show at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles in 2020 and as part of a group show at the Tweed Museum of Art, in Duluth, MN in 2019.

  • FLUX: Photographs by Luke Erickson at Wall Space Santa Barbara

Join us at the gallery for a Saturday afternoon Artist Talk & Reception with Luke Erickson. His project on the Los Angeles River is timeless, thoughtful and beautifully illuminates the balance we have here in Southern California. We struggle with harnessing the natural element of water, the encroachment of man, and the confluence between the two.

  • PROJECTIONS at Captured Spirit Photography Santa Barbara, CA

In celebration of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Captured Spirit Photography and wall space gallery have joined together to highlight Minnesota based photographer and documentarian Luke Erickson. Luke exposes the beauty and majesty of the Drive In Movie Theatre. His black and white images remind of us a long ago era where families gathered under the stars to watch big screen epics, westerns, comedies and drama.

  • 2015 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant Artist Initiative Grant

I was awarded a 2015 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant Artist Initiative Grant.

This grant will provide assistance to me as I photograph the Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix Rivers and will, ultimately, allow me to produce a traveling exhibition of this work, which will consist of 15-20 images.
